White House Creator Economy Conference

In 2024, the White House Office of Digital Strategy convened the first-ever Creator Economy Conference. This event was a daylong on-campus gathering of leading digital creators, platform executives, labor leaders, and policymakers to discuss the economic, regulatory, and cultural questions facing the creator economy. The conference put creators in the same room as decision-makers and signaled federal recognition of one of the fastest-growing sectors of the American workforce — establishing the White House, for the first time, as a stakeholder in the future of creators' work.
